Trachtenkapelle Elters / Rhön

Die Trachtenkapelle Elters/Rhön e.V. wurde 1926 gegründet und besteht derzeit aus 47 aktiven Musikern, die überwiegend in dem hessischen Ort Elters wohnen.

Elters liegt in der hessischen Rhön (Kreis Fulda) ca. 20 km Luftlinie von Bayern und ca. 10 km Luftlinie von Thüringen entfernt.

Das Ensemble spielt, neben den bekannten Rhönliedern, ausschließlich Arrangements der böhmischen, slowakischen sowie der volkstümlichen Blasmusik. Die musikalische Leitung steht unter der Führung von Dirigent Markus Arnold.

Von den zahllosen Auftritten der Trachtenkapelle Elters/Rhön sind besonders hervorzuheben, mehrere Teilnahmen am Oktoberfest in München und bis dato 19 Teilnahmen an Hessentagen. Weiterhin hatte die Trachtenkapelle Elters/Rhön unzählige Auftritte im In- und Ausland.

Die Trachtenkapelle Elters/Rhön unter Leitung von Markus Arnold wurde am 18. Juni 2017 Europameister der Böhmisch & Mährischen Blasmusik 2017 in der Mittelstufe.

Traditional costume band Elters / Rhön

The Traditional costume band Elters/Rhön e.V. was founded in 1926 and currently consists of 47 active musicians, most of whom live in Elters in Hesse.

Elters is located in the Hessian Rhön (district Fulda) approx. 20 km as the crow flies from Bavaria and approx. 10 km as the crow flies from Thuringia.

In addition to the famous Rhönlieder, the ensemble plays exclusively arrangements of Czech, Slovak and folk brass music. The musical direction will be conducted by conductor Markus Arnold.

Of the countless performances of the Traditional costume band Elters/Rhön, several participations at the Oktoberfest in Munich and to date 19 participations on Hesse Days deserve special mention. Furthermore the Traditional costume band Elters/Rhön had countless performances at home and abroad.

The traditional costume band Elters/Rhön under the direction of Markus Arnold became European Champion of Bohemian & Moravian brass music 2017 in the middle school on 18 June 2017.
